It’s been a while since the last Phantom update… Why? We’ve been working on a new tool for this release (plus several other bug fixes).

What is Phantom Chat AI?

Phantom Chat AI is an AI chat workspace built directly inside Adobe Premiere Pro, giving editors access to AI models like Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, NanoBanana, and other image models and more without leaving their editing workflow.

Unlike traditional AI chat tools, Phantom Chat AI is connected directly to your Premiere Pro sequence and transcript. Users can search their timeline using natural language and receive clickable results that jump directly to exact moments in the sequence. For example, you can ask:

• “Find me clips under 1 minute”
• “Find every section where the speaker mentions sponsorships”
• “Locate the funniest moments in this interview”
• “Generate an SEO optimized YouTube description”

Instead of manually searching through timelines or copying transcripts into external AI tools, Phantom Chat AI keeps everything inside Premiere Pro. Search results become interactive timeline references that editors can immediately navigate to with a single click.

Phantom Chat AI also supports AI image generation directly inside Premiere Pro using models like NanoBanana and GPT Image 2. Generated images can be imported into Premiere instantly without downloading files, switching tabs, or manually organizing assets into folders.

Echoe Scribe v1.3.4 updates:

🛠️ Whisper Model Download Bug Fixed

• Fixed issue where a handful MacOS + PC Users couldn't download local Whisper Models on their computers. Version 1.3.4 fixes that

🆕 New "Max Character Length" + UI Change

• Had a request from a user that we should have a "Max Chacter Length" to wrap lines better....so we did! It works pretty similar to that of Premiere Pro max character length
• Great thing is you can 'Max Character length' toggle on/off in the settings. So if you're the type of editor that likes 1 word per line text, this is for you specifically.

Note : We highly recommend users set up a free API key for the best transcription experience.*

If you’re looking for the highest transcription accuracy and more precise word timing, we recommend using one of the supported cloud transcription providers such as:

• Deepgram
• AssemblyAI
• Speechmatics

All of these services currently offer generous free tiers that do not require credit card information, which is one of the main reasons we added support for them in Echoe Scribe in the first place.

Compared to local Whisper models, these cloud providers are typically much faster and provide significantly more accurate word timing for captions and subtitle workflows.

Hey Editors,

Last week, we quietly rolled out Phantom Plugin v1.3.2 and as sometimes happens, a few bugs slipped through. So today, we’re releasing v1.3.3, with improvements to several tools and general bug fixes.

We've also launched Wraith Multi-Cam Editor v1.3.3 with similar bug fixes, updated functions to match that from the Phantom plugin. You can download and install the latest version from your user dashboard.

Silence Remover :

AI Repeat Removal:

• Removed Gemini 2.5 Flash (Did not do a good job analyzing)
• Updated tool to be more accurate
• Fixed bug where cuts weren't being made properly

• Next update were working on a change UI of design to work better with selections and performance.

Wraith Multi-Cam Editor:

• Improved logic towards holding very short clips a bit longer.
• Fixed bug where using the 'delete' editing method removed large chunks of sections accident
• Fixed bug where speaker names with trailing spaces didn’t display correctly

Phantom Stock Media:

• Fixed bugged where thumbnails weren't appearing properly

Echoe Scribe:

• Fixed bugged where some specific languages SRT didn't import properly

Note* If there's a language you're using there's an issue, please let me know. There's over 99+ languages, so it's a bit hard to fix specific issues which we don't know.,

General Bug Fixes

• Had an issue where several users reported 'finger-printing' issues (iykyk). That should hopefully be resolved now 😀

Phantom Plugin v1.3.0 Updates

✅ Clip & Reframe: New ‘All Range Markers’ Mode

All Range Markers is a new mode inside the Clip & Reframe tool that uses Range Markers as In/Out points to automatically create multiple clips at once.

Instead of clipping sections one by one, you can:

1. Review your footage in Adobe Premiere Pro
2. Add Range Markers to every section you want to keep
3. Click “All Range Markers” to instantly generate separate clips from each marked region

This allows you to batch-create multiple clips in one action, significantly reducing repetitive editing tasks and speeding up your workflow.

• Cleanly section long footage
• Batch clip highlights in seconds
• No manual in/out trimming per section

Check out the new tool in action:

1. Add your ‘Range Markers’ to your sequence
2. Select “All Ranged Markers” in Clip & Reframe
3. Select your output settings (Folder, Ratio, Auto Reframe etc..)
4. Click ‘Reframe’ and see the new “All Range Marker” function in action

✅ Viral Spectre: Expanded Language Support

Viral Spectre now supports 30+ additional languages, bringing our total support to 49 different languages. This includes Farsi, Arabic, Hindi, Hebrew, and many more.

✅ Echoe Scribe: New BYOK Transcription AI Deepgram + Speechmatics, Also bug fixes.

AssemblyAI BYOK Issue Resolved

We’ve fixed the previous issue affecting AssemblyAI BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) support.

If you were experiencing 400 errors when using your own AssemblyAI API key, the issue has now been resolved.

New AI Transcription Providers Added

Echoe Scribe now supports additional cloud-based AI transcription models:

• Deepgram
• Speechmatics

Both providers offer highly accurate word recognition and timestamp precision, with strong multi-language support across dozens of languages and regional variants.

This gives you more flexibility to choose the transcription engine that best fits your workflow.

Why Use an API Key?

AssemblyAI, Deepgram, and Speechmatics all offer generous free tiers for API usage.

Using a cloud API key typically provides:

• Higher transcription accuracy
• Better punctuation and formatting
• More precise timing data
• Improved performance compared to local Whisper models

For professional projects, we strongly recommend using an API key for best results.

✅ License Keys: Bug fixes while updating

Previously, updating Adobe Premiere Pro or the Phantom Plugin required you to manually deactivate your license first or log into your user dashboard to remove a previous session.

We recognize this wasn’t ideal and created unnecessary friction in the update process.

What’s Changed in Version 1.3.0

With the release of Phantom v1.3.0, you’ll only need to complete the manual deactivation process one final time.

After this update:

• Future Phantom Plugin updates will no longer require license deactivation
• No more removing previous sessions from your dashboard
• A smoother, more seamless update workflow

This improvement streamlines license management and makes updating Phantom inside Premiere Pro faster and more user-friendly.

✅ Transition Assistant: Fixed bugs for Premiere 26+

Adobe Premiere Pro 26+ introduced naming changes to Film Impact transition effects, which caused compatibility issues when applying certain effects through Phantom’s Transition Assistant.

What’s Updated in Phantom v1.3.0

Transition Assistant has been updated to align with Premiere Pro 26+’s new effect naming structure.

Pros:

• Full support for Film Impact effects in Premiere Pro 26+
• Forward-compatible with future Premiere versions using the updated naming system
• Reliable effect application without errors

⚠️ Important

• Film Impact effects in Premiere Pro 25 and earlier are no longer supported within Transition Assistant.

If you’re running Premiere 26 or later, everything will work as expected. If you’re on Premiere 25 or below, we recommend updating to maintain compatibility.

Some users mentioned that clips felt too predictable because every camera cut lasted the same duration.

To fix that, we introduced the Variation Slider in the Editing Controls of Wraith Multi-Cam Editor. It adds randomness to clip lengths so your edits feel more dynamic and natural.

How it works:

Variation = 0% Max Cam Duration = 20s → every clip is exactly 20s Variation = 50% Max Cam Duration = 20s → clips vary between 10s and 20s Variation = 100% Max Cam Duration = 20s → clips vary between 1s and 20s

⌛ Increased Max Duration Camera from 120s to 240s (Can be further increase, if no reported issues)

Improved Camera selection algorithm model

We’ve fixed an issue where the camera selection model at time's picked the wrong speaker. We're working towards a model where the accuracy is 99.9%.

✅ What’s new:

The model now identifies the correct speaker with higher accuracy. When multiple people speak simultaneously, it will automatically switch to the “All Speakers” camera (if available).

We've added a Sensitivity Control Slider

We know every multi-cam or podcast setup has different audio levels and environments. To give you more precise camera control, we’ve added a Sensitivity Control Slider — letting you fine-tune how responsive the detection is to your audio.

✅ What’s new:

Sensitivity Threshold Adjusts how the algorithm detects sound levels in your sequence.

High sensitivity (e.g. -40 dB): Reacts to even small audio changes, including quiet sounds. Great for podcast/multi camera setup that have low background noise

Low sensitivity (e.g. -20 dB): Ignores minor background noises, pops, and subtle variations. Great for podcast/multi camera setup that have high background noise.

What is Transition Assisstant?

Transition Assistant is a free tool in the Phantom Plugin to help users apply, remove, and change transitions effects in Adobe Premiere at scale. This could be used to help editors create better captions/graphics using Premiere Pro’s default Transistions without the need to individually copy and paste effects one by one.

Features

Transition Effects Apply

Apply Premiere Pro default transitions effects to all selected clips. Choose between applying based on percentage of clip duration or by your preferred duration length.

Remove Transition

Does exactly what it says. Remove transitions of your selected clips. Have the removal options to choose between the front, end or on both sides of the clip.

Scatter Clips

The scatter function offsets every other clip selected by 1 track. This helps video editors have better control with transition effects in Premiere Pro in conjunction with our other tools.

Key Features Summary

• Transition Effects Apply: Apply default transitions to all selected clips; choose percentage of clip duration or preferred duration.
• Remove Transition: Remove transitions from selected clips; choose front, end, or both sides.
• Scatter Clips: Offset every other selected clip by 1 track to aid transition control.

Users who have the Phantom Plugin can immediately start using the tool in version v1.2.5 and above in the Phantom Plugin.
