✅ Clip & Reframe: New ‘All Range Markers’ Mode

All Range Markers is a new mode inside the Clip & Reframe tool that uses Range Markers as In/Out points to automatically create multiple clips at once.

Instead of clipping sections one by one, you can:

1. Review your footage in Adobe Premiere Pro
2. Add Range Markers to every section you want to keep
3. Click “All Range Markers” to instantly generate separate clips from each marked region

This allows you to batch-create multiple clips in one action, significantly reducing repetitive editing tasks and speeding up your workflow.

AssemblyAI BYOK Issue Resolved

We’ve fixed the previous issue affecting AssemblyAI BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) support.

If you were experiencing 400 errors when using your own AssemblyAI API key, the issue has now been resolved.

New AI Transcription Providers Added

Echoe Scribe now supports additional cloud-based AI transcription models:

• Deepgram
• Speechmatics

Both providers offer highly accurate word recognition and timestamp precision, with strong multi-language support across dozens of languages and regional variants.

This gives you more flexibility to choose the transcription engine that best fits your workflow.

AssemblyAI, Deepgram, and Speechmatics all offer generous free tiers for API usage.

Using a cloud API key typically provides:

• Higher transcription accuracy
• Better punctuation and formatting
• More precise timing data
• Improved performance compared to local Whisper models

For professional projects, we strongly recommend using an API key for best results.

✅ License Keys: Bug fixes while updating

Previously, updating Adobe Premiere Pro or the Phantom Plugin required you to manually deactivate your license first or log into your user dashboard to remove a previous session.

We recognize this wasn’t ideal and created unnecessary friction in the update process.

What’s Changed in Version 1.3.0

With the release of Phantom v1.3.0, you’ll only need to complete the manual deactivation process one final time.

After this update:

• Future Phantom Plugin updates will no longer require license deactivation
• No more removing previous sessions from your dashboard
• A smoother, more seamless update workflow

This improvement streamlines license management and makes updating Phantom inside Premiere Pro faster and more user-friendly.

✅ Transition Assistant: Fixed bugs for Premiere 26+

Adobe Premiere Pro 26+ introduced naming changes to Film Impact transition effects, which caused compatibility issues when applying certain effects through Phantom’s Transition Assistant.

What’s Updated in Phantom v1.3.0

Transition Assistant has been updated to align with Premiere Pro 26+’s new effect naming structure.

Pros:

• Full support for Film Impact effects in Premiere Pro 26+
• Forward-compatible with future Premiere versions using the updated naming system
• Reliable effect application without errors

• Film Impact effects in Premiere Pro 25 and earlier are no longer supported within Transition Assistant.

Improved Camera selection algorithm model

We’ve fixed an issue where the camera selection model at time's picked the wrong speaker. We're working towards a model where the accuracy is 99.9%.

✅ What’s new:

The model now identifies the correct speaker with higher accuracy. When multiple people speak simultaneously, it will automatically switch to the “All Speakers” camera (if available).

We've added a Sensitivity Control Slider

We know every multi-cam or podcast setup has different audio levels and environments. To give you more precise camera control, we’ve added a Sensitivity Control Slider — letting you fine-tune how responsive the detection is to your audio.

✅ What’s new:

Sensitivity Threshold Adjusts how the algorithm detects sound levels in your sequence.

High sensitivity (e.g. -40 dB): Reacts to even small audio changes, including quiet sounds. Great for podcast/multi camera setup that have low background noise

Low sensitivity (e.g. -20 dB): Ignores minor background noises, pops, and subtle variations. Great for podcast/multi camera setup that have high background noise.

What is Transition Assisstant?

Transition Assistant is a free tool in the Phantom Plugin to help users apply, remove, and change transitions effects in Adobe Premiere at scale. This could be used to help editors create better captions/graphics using Premiere Pro’s default Transistions without the need to individually copy and paste effects one by one.

Transition Effects Apply

Apply Premiere Pro default transitions effects to all selected clips. Choose between applying based on percentage of clip duration or by your preferred duration length.

Remove Transition

Does exactly what it says. Remove transitions of your selected clips. Have the removal options to choose between the front, end or on both sides of the clip.

Scatter Clips

The scatter function offsets every other clip selected by 1 track. This helps video editors have better control with transition effects in Premiere Pro in conjunction with our other tools.
